1. Acceptance and scope

These Website Terms of Use apply to infoled.co.za and its public pages, tools and enquiry features. By continuing to use the site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the site.

These website terms are separate from INFOLED's Terms of Sale, quotations, contracts and Service Level Agreement. If there is a conflict about a purchased product or service, the signed or accepted commercial agreement takes priority.

2. Information, estimates and quotations

Website content is general information and does not constitute engineering, electrical, financial, tax, investment or legal advice. Energy performance, savings, system size, pricing, incentives and payback depend on site conditions, consumption data, tariffs, equipment, finance terms, regulation and other assumptions.

Calculator outputs and examples are indicative estimates only. They are not quotations, guarantees, credit offers or promises of actual performance. A binding offer exists only when INFOLED issues written commercial terms and they are accepted in the manner specified.

We aim to keep information accurate and current, but errors, omissions or outdated content may occur. Contact us to confirm information material to a decision.

3. Acceptable use

You may use the site for lawful personal or business purposes. You must not:

• interfere with the site's operation, security or access controls;
• introduce malware, harmful code or automated traffic that unreasonably burdens the site;
• attempt unauthorised access to systems, accounts, data or non-public areas;
• submit unlawful, misleading, abusive or infringing material;
• scrape, copy or systematically extract substantial site content without written permission; or
• misrepresent an affiliation with INFOLED or use the site to commit fraud.

We may restrict access or take appropriate action where use threatens the site, INFOLED, customers or third parties.

4. Intellectual property

Unless stated otherwise, INFOLED or its licensors own the website design, branding, text, graphics, photographs, video, software and other content. Trade marks and logos may not be used without the owner's permission.

You may view pages, download a reasonable copy for internal reference, and share links to public pages. No other licence is granted. You may not reproduce, modify, publish, sell or commercially exploit site content without prior written permission, except where law expressly allows it.

5. Privacy and communications

Our Privacy Policy explains how we process personal information. Our Cookie Policy describes browser storage and optional embedded services. When you submit an enquiry, you confirm that the details are accurate and that INFOLED may use them to respond.

Electronic communications are not guaranteed to be secure or error-free. Please do not send confidential credentials or unnecessary sensitive information through ordinary email or general enquiry fields.

6. Third-party sites and services

The site links to monitoring portals, manufacturers, partners, Microsoft Bookings, social networks and other third parties. These services are independently operated. A link does not mean INFOLED controls or guarantees the third party, its availability, content, security, products or privacy practices. Review the third party's terms before use.

7. Availability and changes

We may change, suspend or withdraw any page or feature without notice. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, secure or error-free access, or that the site will always be compatible with every device or browser. Maintenance, hosting incidents, network conditions and events outside our control may affect availability.

8. Disclaimers and liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the site and its general information are supplied “as is” without warranties not expressly stated. INFOLED is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising solely from use of, inability to use, or reliance on general website content or a third-party link.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, or any right you may have under applicable consumer law. Commercial liability relating to INFOLED products or services is governed by the applicable quotation, contract and mandatory law.

9. Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. South African courts have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer forum or dispute-resolution right.
