A plain-language record of the browser storage and optional third-party content used on infoled.co.za.

1. About cookies and browser storage
Cookies are small text files placed on a device by a website or third-party service. Websites may also use similar browser technologies such as local storage. This policy uses “cookies” as a convenient collective term unless a distinction is helpful.
Some storage is necessary for a feature you request. Other storage is optional and should be used only after you make a choice.

No advertising or analytics cookies: At the effective date, INFOLED does not use advertising pixels, behavioural advertising cookies or website analytics cookies on this site.
3. External services
If you accept optional cookies and choose a bookable service, the desktop site may load Microsoft Bookings inside the page. If you select “Essential only,” INFOLED does not load the embedded booking frame; you can still open the booking link in a new tab. Microsoft will then process your visit under its own privacy and cookie terms.
The site also requests visual resources from Google Fonts and Tailwind's content delivery network. These network requests may disclose routine technical information such as your IP address and browser type to the provider, but INFOLED does not use these resources to set analytics or advertising cookies.
Links to third-party websites—including monitoring portals and social networks—do not load those sites until you follow the link.
4. Your choices
On your first visit, the banner offers two equally available choices:
- Essential only keeps optional embedded content disabled.
- Accept all permits optional Microsoft Bookings content to load when you request it.
Your choice is remembered in local storage and the banner will not appear again on later visits in the same browser unless storage is cleared or the policy version changes.
You can also clear site data through your browser settings. Blocking essential local storage may cause the banner to return and prevent the website from remembering your theme.
5. Changes and contact
We will update this page if the technologies or purposes change. If we introduce analytics, advertising or other optional categories, we will update the consent controls before activating them where consent is required.
